  • Firefox Beta 79.0b8 (Build ID: 20200714212005)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Windows 10 x64

[Prerequisites]:

  • Firefox Beta is open.
  • The privacy.webrtc.allowSilencingNotifications pref is set to true.
  • The privacy.webrtc.legacyGlobalIndicator pref is set to false.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Start a webRTC video call on Zoom.
  2. Click the “Share Screen” button.
  3. Drag and drop the global indicator outside the screen.
  4. Observe the behavior.

[Expected results]:

  • The global indicator bounces back on the screen’s visible area and is fully displayed.

[Actual results]:

  • The global indicator doesn’t bounce back on the screen’s visible area and is partially displayed.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is not reproducible with the top part of the screen. This is only reproducible with the side and bottom parts of the screen.
  • On the bottom part of the screen, the taskbar can overlap the global indicator.
  • Attached is a screen recording of the issue.
