Details

Currently, when an experiment is active, we use the variable EXPERIMENT_ACTIVE set to 1 to denote an active experiment.

Proposal:
Add -exp to SemVer tag to denote that an experiment is active. This will help for future deployments to not take down an active experiment.

Addressed in PR 2324.
