165387 - mozilla "forgets" its stored profiles

Every time I start Mozilla, it asks me if it should migrate my netscape4.7
profile. If I say "yes", mozilla terminates. Starting the Profile Manager, I
have to re-create my profile as it does not appear in the Profile Manager's
list. The directory with the settings does exist, and if I choose that directory
and the same profile name, all my previous settings are available.

That release you mention is ancient. Please try a newer nightly build from

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-installer-sea.exe

(for example, 1.2beta)? if so, please comment again with details of what version
