The image in the URL below displays "properly" in Internet Explorer but is strangely garbled on the far right in Mozilla, every build I've tried. At the moment I'm testing with moz 1.1. The URL of the test image is: http://www.wondious.com/images/statusmap.png In Mozilla, the icons steadily become more garbled the farther they get to the right. I will be happy to help by producing more such test images or by doing whatever else I may be able to do. Just let me know. I took a stab in the dark that imagelib was the component responsible for loading images - if not, please correct me.
WORKSFORME on build 2002082908, Win98. Possibly display driver issue? This might also be affected by what color depth you're using. If you're using 32bit color, try 16bit and see if that makes any difference.
WFM: Win2k/2002082704. Reporter: Please tell us your graphics card model, your driver, and your colour depth.
Sorry, I thought this was happening on several systems but now I can only produce it on one. That vid card is a "3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Banshee" with drivers 5.00.2180.58 (banshee.dll) and 5.00.2167.58 (banshee.sys), in 16-bit color. I'll test with different color depths Monday - can't change them remotely over the weekend. I'll update this bug again then.
FizzillaCFM/2002082909 displays an error message: The image "http://www.wondious.com/images/statusmap.png" cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
worksforme on Windows XP rv:1.1 Gecko/20020826 using 3Dfx Banshee driver version 5.00.2462.60 (for both files).
Please provide a screenshot of this bad rendering in action.
Here's a screenshot of just the bad area (which seems to become progressively worse as you go further to the right in the png). The screenshot is a gif. http://www.wondious.com/images/statusmap-bad.gif
WFM with 2002110408/trunk/win2k. reporter (Trever): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
Tried it again with 1.2 beta and the problem is gone. Thanks.
