Using 1.1 on win XP. I have my mail accounts set to compose in HTML When I send a message it goes to the recipient correctly. However, if I have VIEW|"Message Body as" set to either "simple" or "plain text", then when I view the message in my SENT folder the body is always blank.
For plain text setting, that sounds like the correct behaviour. You should select in Edit - Preferences - Mail/News - Send Format "send in both plain text and HTML", so that there is some plain text to view. Simple HTML should presumably work though.
Irwin: have you tried a more recent build of Mozilla (1.3 or 1.4b)? It seems that even HTML-only messages, when viewed as Plain Text, are shown with the text extracted from the HTML body.
Using 2003050714. Seems to be working fine.
