Details
Sidebar will not display after launch of mail app. Must go to View>>Show/Hide
and deselect "Sidebar" - close then navigate back to the same menu and enable
the "Sidebar" choice again. Then the sidebar displays. Sidebar displays okay
in browser window.

James, when you reopen MailNews, do you see the splitter for the Sidebar down at
the bottom of the folder pane? (That is, the left-hand pane?)

Yes. If I expand it (move it up) only a blank frame appears - no sidebar panes.
Navigating to View>>Show/Hide and deselecting the Sidebar option - exiting from
the View menu - then subsequently choosing View>>Show/Hide again and re-enabling
the Sidebar option restores the sidebars to their proper position. However, the
new settings are not saved. After closing the app and then relaunching Mail the
Sidebar is not displayed.
Possible dup of bug 135070.
I don't even see an option for the MailNews Sidebar in FizzillaMach/2003021203,
I think it has been removed entirely. james, do still see it in current nightlies?

No longer see "Sidebar" option in "View" menu of mail app. I guess the bug was
resolved by eliminating the feature.
