Note

  • When the user performs a WebRTC conference call using a Mac OS, then closes the call and checks the about:webrtc page, he will notice that the Session Statistics events are lost.

Affected versions

  • Nightly v81.0a1
  • Beta v80.0b1

Affected platforms

  • Mac OS 10.15

Steps to reproduce

  1. Engage in a WebRTC audio/video call with a Windows system (for example).
  2. Open the about:webrtc page and notice that there are 2 active session statistics events.
  3. Close the call.
  4. Focus the about:webrtc page again and refresh it.
  5. Notice the session statistics area.

Expected result

  • There are 2 closed session statistics events.

Actual result

  • The session statistics events are lost.

Regression range

  • Release79 and ESR78 are unaffected by this issue.
  • It cannot be investigated using mozregression because the logs aren't kept in mozregression nightlies as old as v77.0a1 from 2020-04-08.
