I have a patch to teach DMD to calculate the slop across all memory allocations. We now get something like:
Summary {
Total: 9,880,920 bytes in 99,021 blocks
Slop: 613,914 bytes ( 6.21%)
}
At the end of DMD reports.

I'm going to make these features part of the replay tool, and will likely do them in Bug 1656155.
