Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:79.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/79.0
Steps to reproduce:
Trying to display https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
Crashes are random. Cannot determine the set of circumstances leading to crash.
Tell me which macos log files to add to this report, and I will add them.
Actual results:
Four times now over the past couple months, and over at least three different FF versions, I have had FF crash macos 10.14.6 (18G6020) on a MBP Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014 with 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, and Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB GPU.
Before the crash, the display "garbles" then goes black then macos reboots.
In the latest crash, and the one before that, I can definitively say that the first load of the website did not render all panes on the display, and the crash occurred when I tried to reload the page. In the reload, it was repainting panes, when suddenly the screen garbled, then macos crashed.
I do not see any files which appears to be a macos dump. If someone can tell me which files to attach, I will add them to this case.
Expected results:
I find it unbelievable that FF is even capable of crashing macos. But, this is the fourth time. The occurrence is rare, but clearly something is going on which causes FF to take out macos.

If you go to about:crashes you should see links to the crash reports for those crashes. Could you paste them into this bug?
Hum... for some reason, this did not get added to the bug report.
Yesterday, I replied as follows:
Ah, therein lies the rub: Firefox doesn't think/know it crashed because it is macOS which crashes. Doing about:crashes claims there are no crashes.
I have been looking for macOS crash dumps/logs, but can't seem to locate any. That said, they may be buried in some log and I just can't find them. I see references to reboots, but not to the crash which preceded the reboot.
Where should I find macOS crashes? And, if macOS isn't creating crash logs, I can I force it to do so?

I haven't been able to reproduce this myself. It sounds like this crash would be best reported to Apple directly. You can file a bug report at https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/. There may be relevant logs in the Console.app. You can find it at /Applications/Utilities/Console.app. I'm going to close this bug report for now, but please reopen if there is more information related to Firefox that becomes available.
