When you run mozilla 1.1, the running indicator at the task bar does not have
mozilla's icon !! instead it has the general X icon.

this happened only in 1.1 final; 1.1a and 1.1b had the icon. I dont know if that
was intentional or not.
I'm also seeing this. I just installed the Mozilla 1.1 RPMs from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.1/Red_Hat_7x_RPMS/RPMS/i386/
on a Red Hat 7.3 box.
i have no taskbar icon in three separate installations:

1) RH 7.3 mozilla 1.1 final
2) RH 7.2 mozilla 1.1 final
3) RH 7.2 mozilla 1.2b (same machine as #2, an upgrade)

i had an icon on both machines when i was running mozilla 1.0 final.

Why not download the newer version, 1.3 or 1.4a?
We are running mozilla 1.4 on Debian GNU/Linux & Gnome 2.2

We do not see the problem. What desktop/window manager are you running?
Reporters: Any experiences from newer versions? Details about window manager and
desktop manager appreciated.
I'm now running 1.3 on RH 8.0 and not having any problems.
Marking WORKSFORME.

Please reopen if you still see this problem with a _current_ build.
