Until yesterday (19/08) FF was working fine, today I receive a message that Firefox was upgraded, and when I tried to use connecting to this site with webcam service, It doesn't give any option to choose the camera (Front or Back), it uses the Back camera as default.

Currently it just ask if I allow the site to use my camera and microphone, without an option of the camera (Front or Back) or just Microphone which was possible with older version.

Currently version: 79.0.5 (Android).

Another thing is that before with old version it used to connect with this webcam site very easy, now it takes a lot of tries, I think this is because the permission.

  1. Is there a way to set the camera using the Front one?

  2. Is there a way to go back to the old FF version? Because this one changed everything, like it set Google as default search.

EDIT: Searching about this issue I've found this:
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:yohvySd-KTkJ:https://www.albrightnetworks.com/2020/08/03/firefox-browser-error-is-giving-android-users-problems/+&cd=13&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
"If an Android user streams video from a website loaded in Firefox, rather than a native app, the smartphone's camera will remain active even after the user has moved the browser into the background, and even if the phone's screen is locked."
.
.
.
"This bug [fix] aims to address this by defaulting to audio-only when the screen is locked. [The fix] is scheduled for release at the platform-level this October, and for consumers shortly after."

I can't believe Mozilla launched this.

The new Firefox for Android is not tracked on Bugzilla. You can file new issues on GitHub, where the project is hosted

I believe this existing issue is already describing the problem with the camera
