When setting preferences for mail client in "When sending messages,
automatically:" checking the button "place copy in sent folder on ...". this
option does not work. Checking this box lets you pick where to save the copy and
shows the correct data, but upon clicking okay to save the setting it reverts
back to the default of asking you where to save the copies. None of the options
on this page seem to work. They always revert back to "click here to start

It's the same for me. This worked fine in all versions of mozilla up to 1.1beta.
It stopped working after I updated to mozilla 1.1 a couple of days ago. In
addition, I see a checkbox without text in the "Copies & Folders" dialog where
it should say sth like "Bcc <my email address".
I have multiple email accounts (pop and imap) and if I go from the "Copies &
Folders" dialog of one account to the "C & F" dialog the dialog doesn't get updated.
It seems that the "C & F" dialog is broken somehow.

I did some investigation in the prefs.js file. I found out that all this weird
behavior was caused by a space (instead of %20) in all those mailbox: URLs that
related to the local folder.
Changing "mailbox://nobody@Local Folders/..." to
"mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/..." everywhere in prefs.js did the trick.
Obviously an older version of mozilla wrote the wrong URLs and the latest
version cannot process them any more.

Martin Hoer: is this bug still an issue for you? I am unable to duplicate the
symptom with 1.3 or 1.4b, and I did not need to implement the workaround from
comment 2.
