Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020901
While composing a new mail I could't paste a text from a website into a new email
composition. I tried to create a text file with the text and then copying it from
there to the composition window but still no luck. After a few tries the Ctrl + c
and Ctrl + v feature could only copy a single line at a time.
Other version before this one seemed OK.

I just ran into the same problem. I mark some text in a browser window and want
to past it into MailNews by the middle mouse button. Nothing. Same with ctrl-c
and v. Yet another recent regression. I get the feeling that in the last two
weeks more problems were created than solved:-(

This sure sounds like a duplicate of bug 166056 (read comment 21). The
timeframe matches. Can someone test with a newer build and see if the problem
still exists?

Very strange. It WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b)
Gecko/2002090311, which was before the fix of bug 166056 (AFAICS).

I have to back out comment 5. It happens once in a while, not consistently:-(
Sorry, I cannot test a newer version. I want my RPMs;-)
