Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable ETP Strict Mode.
  2. Load https://reubenwu.com/projects/25/aeroglyphs
  3. Click on any photo thumbnail other than the first photo (green river and three vertical lines).
  4. Then try clicking the right arrow button > to scroll through the photo carousel.

Expected result:

The large version of the photo thumbnail you clicked on should open. Clicking the arrow button should scroll through the photo carousel.

Actual result:

The large version of the first photo (green river and three vertical lines) opens instead. Clicking the arrow button does not scroll through the photo carousel.

The photo gallery works correctly if you switch from ETP Strict to Standard mode and reload the page.

Severity: -- → S3
Priority: -- → P3

The issue still occurs, with ETP - Strict I can't proceed to the next/previous photo using right/left arrow buttons.

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 88.0a1 (2021-02-22)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

When I click on an image I see this appear in the console, so this is likely related to Twitter's https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js being blocked:

Uncaught ReferenceError: twttr is not defined
