Controls are all flickery even if you don't hover over them and such, sometimes disappear completely.

Mozregression says this is caused by bug 1656418:

Smells like bug 1661316 or bug 1662624. (I can't reproduce though).

It's pretty visible for me, reproduces both with xwayland and wayland. This computer gets WebRender enabled by default, I'll check whether it repros without webrender in a sec.

And try with disabling RetainedDisplayList please.

The bug is in fact gone with RDL disabled though.

The UI seems to have been changed unfortunately? I did want to make sure bug 1661316 fixed this too. Hopefully it fixes the original issue.
