User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/85.0.4183.83 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

"\eiko carol" written in first (new) tab gives unbelievable speed
which was unreachable by Firefox before.
This little speed hack can be reproduced infinitely on various
configurations of hardware. I have not exactly measured performance
difference, but it appears that Firefox is really fast.

"\eiko carol" also fixes most of flickering for some reason.

:)

Actual results:

Everything is very fast,
keyboard is not locked,
websites load very quickly,
most of flickering is gone.

Expected results:

New tab or anything written in its url shouldn't affect overall
performance in any way.

It also helps if you write "\eiko carol" in terminal first tab
before and launch firefox from terminal second tab.

This could hint at broken copy pasta since the year 2000
even though Firefox didn't exist yet.

The difference is just amazing.

:] (omg)

Pls have another look at this bug. You basic arguments is that anything
that is written in url bar cannot impact performance of Firefox.

My bug report tries to prove the opposite.

I don't like that you abuse spam filter to delete me and all bug reports
without any good explanation.

\trinitron

Firefox is now so fast I have never seen it being that fast ever.

:]

2nd observation.

If you write same sting "\trinitron" in first tab of terminal emulator
and launch Firefox from second terminal it appears Firefox
wins more performance than simply writing "\trinitron" in
browser's first tab.

:)

\trinitron color tv

Performance differences are now so massive I can't believe what I am seeing.

:)

Hi once again. I am beaten that you decided this way.

How can you prove that without writing "\trinitron color tv"
in a first tab everything stays same?
Do you perform benchmarks, if yes when which kind?

I am seeing tremendous speed win in every website, etc.

...
I have been also thinking why "\trinitron color tv" works
so well. Perhaps this is someone's regexp copy-pasta?

If regexp is broken you would need to shut down regexp
in a browser to see tremendous speed increase, as
"\trinitron color tv" proves.

Difference is amazing, I don't know how you don't notice
anything. (I am not joking :p)

:)

I am also kinda interested how Google javascript
engine works. Is it like anti-lag for most common
javascript operations?

When would it make sense for Firefox to write
similar anti-lag for javascript instead of optimization
engine?

:]

You could also invent machine algorithm
which guards freedom of speech in
bug tracker or even in forum instead
of any moderator ...

:p

I have been also thinking why "\trinitron color tv" works
so well. Perhaps this is someone's regexp copy-pasta?

It's also beneficial to replace any url of tab
or a window with this string "\trinitron color tv"
to get much smoother picture.

Is it possible this is someone's tv remote
copy-pasta?

:]
