The black line that appears to show the current insertion point on the Personal
Toolbar can persist indefinitely if a link is dragged to the end of the bar but
not dropped there. It will only be removed during a browser session when either
a link is dropped at the end of the bar, or an icon on the Toolbar is dragged to
the end.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click and hold on a link in Mozilla to start a drag
2. Drag the link to the right of the last item on the Personal Toolbar
3. Drop the link somewhere else on screen (location bar, menu bar, active
document, etc)
Steps to remove leftover element:
1. Drag and drop a link to the end of the Personal Toolbar, OR
2. Drag and drop another bookmark on the Personal Toolbar to the end
Also: Added screenshot.

From Bug 167897:
it occurs [on Linux] when the bookmark is actually inserted

I'm still seeing the problem described in (duplicate) bug 167897, on 2002091016.
