Steps to reproduce:
Version 78.2.2 of Thunderbird installed on its own. The problem appeared on its own immediately afterward. I did nothing.
Actual results:
The list of emails is blank and titles show up only if I click on each one of them. Also, those emails not read are no longer highlighted in bold print, so I can't tell which email I'm reading in the message window on the right.
Expected results:
All emails in the email list should appear on opening Thunderbird. Each email not read should be highlighted in bold print until read.

Tried in -safe-mode (Help | Restart with add-ons disabled)? Also try disabling hardware acceleration in the Thunderbird prefs.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but it didn't help. Emails still not showing up unless I click on each one individually after which the email shows and is indicated as read, although it hasn't been.
