User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
Whilst browsing, I've noticed several websites that prompt users to install Firefox add-ons; it appears that this prompt can be displayed without any interaction from a user. As we've done for notifications and requests to access location/microphone/camera, could we possibly consider also adding an option to automatically deny all requests to install Firefox add-ons? This would provide a safety net, and make it impossible for add-ons to accidentally be installed.

This should be already possible through the Firefox enterprise policies, see docs of the properties available here:
- https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates#extensionsettings (and also https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/README.md for info about where the enterprise policy file should be located).
Let us know if the enterprise policies settings currently available are not yet covering your needs.
