User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
Upgraded form TB68 to TB78.2.2 (yesterday, 22.9.).
Actual results:
Upgrade worked fine in the first place. However, I noticed that TB asked for mast password on startup several times (my assumption is for each account separately, guessing from the number of times I saw the pop up). Then realized that Google-Calendars were not displayed in the calendar tab. When I tried to investigate, opened properties of a google calendar and the dialogue told me that Provider for Google Calendar could not be found. However, the provider actually was installed and activated.
I could fix the issue by re-installing the Provider. Interesting enough when I start TB now it only asks for the master password once which all in all to me suggests that the Provider had an authentication issue.
Expected results:
Google Provider should do it's job.
My suggestion to solve the problem would be to re-install all add-ons in case of an upgrade. If this is already done there seems to be a problem that at least some (e.g. Google Provider) do not install properly or the process interferes with other addons.
Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to reproduce this error and, unfortunately, I cannot provide screenshots because I only know now what might be useful to debug the problem. So I understand that it will be quite hard to reproduce. All I could say, please try to install TB68 and install Google Calenders and check on what happens when you upgrade to TB78.2.2.

I would like to add that my speculation that the re-install of Google Provider would solve the issues with multiple requests for the master password is actually wrong.
However, the problem is non-deterministic. Sometimes only one request pops up and TB is fine with the input. Sometimes multiple popups open. It thought at first that it is a timing issue, i.e. that I only have to enter the master password once when I'm fast enough. But if it actually was a timing issue it again is non-deterministic because sometimes I have reasonable time to deal with the first request. Sometimes TB is impatient and opens the additional pop-ups.
I stress that this is not an issue of faulty entered passwords because at least sometimes the popups appear while I'm actually typing the the PW in the first popup. Sometimes multiple popups are there even before I can start entering anything. And in rare cases there is just one popup and then it is done.

With TB78.3.0 the problem of multiple popups for the master password is gone.
Whether the Provider issue when updating for 68.0 persists, I cannot tell.

So is this about the extension not automatically updating from version 68.2.1 to version 78.0.1, or password prompts?

The main problem which I wanted to report was that the Google Calendars did not really show up (i.e. the calendars were still there but the events in the calendar were not displayed). When I opened the properties of the calendar, I got the message that the Google Provider addon was not available (although it was installed and active). A re-install of the Google Provider add on solved the issue. However, all this was done with TB78.2.2 and I of course cannot tell what it means for TB78.3.0. A test of this with TM78.3.0 would use more time than I could afford.

I guess a bug in Provider for Google Calendar.
Or some fluke.
