Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run Nightly 83.0a1 (2020-09-25) (64-bit) on macOS with clean profile
  2. open about:config and set fission.sessionHistoryInParent to true
  3. open https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try
  4. click "Repos" - "mozilla-central"
  5. click reload button in toolbar

Actual result:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try is shown

Expected result:
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-central is shown

The same happens if both fission.sessionHistoryInParent and fission.autostart are set, but the above seems to be minimal steps

I can repro this on gmail.
My STR: go to gmail inbox, open any email, click refresh. It should navigate to the same email but it instead navigates to the inbox.
We believe bug 1659102 will fix this.

We believe bug 1659102 has fixed it. I cannot reproduce this anymore. Tooru, can you confirm it no longer reproduces for you with the latest nightly?
