STR:

  1. Go to https://staktrace.com/spout/
  2. Pinch zoom in (I tested using macOS trackpad and windows touchpad)
  3. Scroll down using the two-finger trackpad scroll gesture. Stop at some point where there's a lot of text on the screen
  4. Press the keyboard down arrow

Actual:

  • Content scrolls, but there's a white flash of what looks like checkerboarding

Expected:

  • no white flash

Note that you can repeat steps 3 and 4 to keep getting the white flash. It only happens on the first keyboard scroll following a trackpad scroll gesture.

It might be related to bug 1656689, worth retesting after that's resolved.

Yeah, probably bug 1656689 fixes it. I've seen a similar bug that was fixed by my patch.

Indeed, this seems fixed now.
