Details

  1. Obtain some PGP-encrypted message (which itself you are be able to read in Thunderbird, content and subject)
  2. Forward the encrypted message (e.g. to yourself) as an attachment, not inline
  3. As the recipient of, open the "container" message it in Thunderbird; then open the attached encrypted message

Expected result: The inner message, when opened, has the subject field set to its actual subject.

Actual result: The subject field for the inner message remains with "..." as the text.

This is particularly problematic when mail servers "massage" the original message and deliver it as an attachment to a generated (?) outer message - thus triggering this issue when you try to read what you've been sent.

Using TB 78.3.1 but saw this earlier too.
