I have been experiencing problems since a few days ago.

STR:
Help > About Nightly.

Actual Results:
download 59.6MB. It seems full update.

Expected Results:
download partial updater

It would be helpful if you could provide an update URL by setting app.update.log to true, opening the browser console, and then checking for updates. I'm interested in any AUS:SVC lines.

Okay, it looks like this is happening because we don't have platform alias' in the dated blobs (like https://aus-api.mozilla.org/api/v1/releases/Firefox-mozilla-central-nightly-20200927215113). This is fallout from https://github.com/mozilla-releng/balrog/issues/1049 - I'll look into a fix.

https://github.com/mozilla-releng/balrog/pull/1523 should fix this. It's a fix on the update server, so as soon as it's deployed (hopefully today or tomorrow), partials should start working for Nightly. It's worth noting that this can't affect beta/release/esr.

This should be fixed now. The URL posted in the log is now getting a partial.
