Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:82.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/82.0

Steps to reproduce:

I'm testing 82.0b2. I had created a reoccurring event on Sept 1, 2020 (likely using 81.0b). I attempted to do an "edit only this occurrence" on the recurring event for tomorrow and make only one small change to the Title and do a Save & Close.

Actual results:

On clicking Save & Close, I get the Submit My Changes Anyway / Discard My Changes And Reload message. It shouldn't even be coming up but no matter how many time I click Submit My Changes Anyway, it does not. Error Console shows it's having a "409 Conflict." Never had this issue happen before 82.0b.

Odd as that may be, if I do an Edit All Occurrences and then make my small change to the Title and click Save & Close, it accepts the change without issue.

Expected results:

It should accept the change using "Edit Only This Occurrence"

CalDAV?

Component: Untriaged → Provider: CalDAV
Product: Thunderbird → Calendar

I think bug 1664731 fixed this, so going to dupe.
