Firefox frequently freezes. It pales out and the top bar says not responding. After 30 seconds or so, it unfreezes, but this is very annoying.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
I do nothing in particular - this happens frequently and seemingly out of my control. I am using the latest updated version on a stock windows 10 machine. It even happened while I was typing in the last sentence - see screenshot attached. I have tried all the usual trouble shooting steps - updating Firefox, deleting cache and cookies, disabling hardware acceleration, starting in safe mode, uninstalling all add-ons, reverting to a former version of Firefox, switching to the extended support release. Everything. This problem has persisted across all versions and troubleshooting I have done. It has done this for approximately 2 months now and I am at my wits end.
Actual results:
Like I said I cannot reproduce, as it happens randomly and without cause.
Expected results:
I would like firefox to run without freezing every couple of minutes.

Here you go: https://share.firefox.dev/36oRkgj
I made sure to be recording when the issue I described above happened - It was near the end, when everything goes sort of blank.
Thank you for looking into the problem!

This blocks for a long time calling GetWindowID() -- 6 seconds, blocking the main thread of the parent process. It isn't clear from the trace where exactly that is though...

Could you collect another trace and make sure you capture native stacks? The default settings for "Firefox Graphics" (selectable from the addon's menu) should contain all the information we need. Thanks!

I will do this as soon as possible. It isn't happening right now - like I said, the problem is very inconsistent and I cannot trigger it on demand. When the brower begins acting up again I will record it while running firefox with default graphics.

To be clear, Andrew is asking for "Firefox Graphics" to be the settings in the profiler, you can continue to run Firefow how you were running it before.

Could you please try to reproduce this in Safe mode? We're curious about some of your extensions.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it right now - It comes and goes. Some weeks it interrupts me every 2 minutes, and sometimes, like this week, it does not appear. I have tried in safe mode while the problem was happening, and it made no difference to the problem. I will record in safe mode when the problem pops up again.

Is this still an issue using 85?
