Get message: "An error occured sending mail. Unable to connect to SMTP server %s. The server..." Version: Mozilla 1.1 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Working find and then when I tried to add a new smtp server for my school account it would not connect to either. Noticed a lot of empty entries and deleted them. Removed the extra one for school account, still no fix. Finaly removed the sbcglobal address, and then re-entered it. Still no fix. Problem is keeping me from sending mail thru Mozilla, my prefered platform. Newsgroup access still is working fine. I cannot say problem is reproducable. Thanks Bob Morton
This is a known bug. Your SMTP Accounts are corrupted. You can try this : Delete all SMTP Accounts in outgoing Servers/Advanced restart mozilla create your Account again and also be sure that you have the correct Account in Pop3-Account/Advanced If you still have the problem you must manually fix your prefs.js file :-( (AFAIK This is one the biggest Mozilla problems and it's still not fixed)
