glean_parser doesn't fail when asked to process a file that doesn't exist. This is apparently due to Gradle Reasons, so it's a good feature to have... but can we sequester the feature to just Gradle's use?
Maybe we add a --dont-fail-on-absent-files option and get the Gradle Plugin to always use that, and then change the default behaviour to fail on absent files (with, as always, a helpful message)?

Makes sense.
🚲🏠 Would --allow-missing-files be better?

Makes sense.

I'm not fussy on the name, just that it exist. Gradle's the only one who needs to use it : )
