Steps to reproduce:
I restarted Thunderbird after installation of new version today.
Actual results:
My "stars" disappeared and tapping on the star does NOT turn it into a gold star, as in the past, but rather makes it disappear.
Expected results:
Tapping on the star column should generate a gold star for future filtering by stars.

Wfm on 68.12.1 (64-bit), can star and unstar both pop and imap.
Can you try if the problem persists after Help > Restart with addons disabled (TB safe mode)?
