166905 - using clipboard to paste from Cocoa apps on 10.2 adds extra character

Under "Jaguar" (MacOS X 10.2) , cutting and pasting URLs from Mail.app to
Mozilla causes an extra character to be added to the beginning of the pasted
text. This has been reported in a few places; this changelog entry to BBEdit may
provide a clue to what the problem is:

Dan, please retest using a recent nightly build from either the trunk or the
1.0.1 branch.

I'm also experiencing the extra character problem. I'm using Moz 1.1 (20020826)
on Mac OS X 10.2. The extra character always appears as a question mark, and
appears when I paste into text boxes, textareas, or the location bar.
