Steps to reproduce:

I have created an Angular directive for drag and drop of some text/array somewhere on the same page or another div.

Actual results:

When I start dragging the content, the drag event is not firing in version 78.2.0 esr but the same code works fine with higher versions of Mozilla other browsers like Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Safari.

Expected results:

should be allowed to drag and drop in the version 78.2.0 esr.

Could you please add some test cases or more exact steps to test this? If it is possible for you please add a screen recording with this problem.
Also, you can try to reproduce this problem on latest Nightly and tell us your input. You can download it from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/
