User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0

Steps to reproduce:

I compose a mail with long lines (>>72 characters).
I then send the mail.
Once as plain text, once as auto.

In the config editor, I can see that wrap_long_lines = true
and wraplength = 72.

Actual results:

When the mail is received, it still has long lines. No wrapping
has been applied.

Expected results:

I would have expected the long lines to have been wrapped (to 72 characters).

@erik: Thanks for your report. Can you please select the offending message in your outbox or sent folder and press CTRL+U (view message source). Preferably in a current TB version. What do you see? How long are your lines here? Are there any "=" characters at end of line?

If in the source your message is nicely wrapped at the 72nd character but the message in the preview pane is not wrapped, then please try if bug 821337#comment1 solves your problem. Please report back your results. Thank you.
