Summary: In the 1999-10-17-08-M11 build on WinNT, .txt files and files with no extension or an extension with no MIME type associated load but do not display. TO REPRODUCE: Try to view the file at the above URL. ACTUAL RESULTS: a)The status bar will show that a file is loading from the correct server. b)The status bar will show "Document: Done" The [Stop] button will grey. c)The page will not appear. d)Clicking [Back] reloads the previous page (still visible at this time) e)Clicking [Forward] repeats a), b), c). EXPECTED RESULTS: a)The status bar will show that a file is loading from the correct server. b)The status bar will show "Document: Done" The [Stop] button will grey. c)The page will appear (it's a plain text file). d)Clicking [Back] reloads the previous page e)Clicking [Forward] repeats a), b), c). DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY ON: 1999-10-17-08-M11 on Windows NT 4.0sp3 WORKS CORRECTLY ON: Mozilla M10 win32 build (shows bug 16584, but displays) Nav 4.7 Blocking testing of Bug 16584.

Forgot to mention: yes, I've tried this with multiple text/plain files on multiple servers.
Hmm.... we seem to be transfering text/plain out correctly. I would let Don decide who gets this.

Sorry! I retested the next day, and I was sure I added a comment to this bug report, but obviously not. This must have been a temporary regression or dysfunction - Pick your choice of RESOLUTION Works correctly on: WinNT 4.0sp3, mozilla.exe, 1999-10-20-08-M11 binary WinNT 4.0sp3, apprunner.exe, M10 release binary
