Changes to `prefeences' are not accepted except if they are made one at a time: make a change press<ok>, open preferences make a change ...
always include build ID what preferences are you changing? please provide a specific example.
naggar, are you still experiencing this with a current version of mozilla? Please provide the specific version of mozilla that you're using, and a specific set of steps in which some prefs changes don't take effect.
