Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
The issue is the same as
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682262
but relates to login windows (e.g. svn login prompts).
Actual results:
Login on many sites is opened as window-modal one
Expected results:
Login on many sites should be opened as tab-modal one.
It should also allow using such features like auto-insert logins and passwords from 3rd party plugins like lastpass.
OS: Windows 10, Ubuntu linux 20.04.1 LTS
In chrome everything works as expected

Login on many sites is opened as window-modal one
- Presumably this is about basic authentication, so a duplicate of bug 613785. The vast majority of login forms are just web page content, and therefore already tab-modal.
- Bug 1149505 is for the primary password prompt (formerly known as the master password).
- Bug 1427272 is for FTP login prompts, but it's likely obsolete given the planned removal of FTP support in bug 1574475.
Feel free to re-dupe or reopen if necessary.
