What type of calendar do you use (yourself)?

Component: General → E-mail based Scheduling (iTIP/iMIP)

I use the Calendar from TB and also the Google connector.

I tried creating an invite using the Google Calendar connector (Provider for Google Calendar). I also tried creating an invite only in TB (not using the Google Calendar). In both cases, I never receive the email with the invite.

One thing I noticed: when I invite attendees, the button says "Save and close" but I seem to remember that it said "Send and close" before the 78.x update. But I could be mistaken.

Version: unspecified → Thunderbird 78

I'm currently on 91.6.1 and have the same issue. I am using the default calendar from TB. Nothing changed from update to update from when I started using TB about 4 years ago.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create event
  2. Invite attendee
  3. Save and Close

Results:
No invite was sent

Expected:
Invite to be sent and seen in the outbox
