Details

STR:

  1. Run Mac OS in dark mode
  2. Install the Mozilla VPN client
  3. Look for Mozilla VPN in Mac OS top menu bar

Expected results:
Mozilla VPN menu bar icon should be white (or at least high-contrast) on black background

Actual results:
Mozilla VPN menu bar icon is black on black background so impossible to see

This is fixed in the latest build I got today!
