Over last couple of days Firefox has started loading pages twice or in sections causing an annoying delay and disconcerting flashing.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
Yesterday there was an outage where Firefox wouldn't load Facebook. Today it is loading Facebook but the page loads twice. My Firefox home page is google.co.uk. It loads, I enter a search term into the search box then Firefox reloads the page and my search box is refreshed and cleared so I have to re-enter the search term. Some other websites for instance https://order-order.com/ load elements in blocks so it is slower than it used to be and causes annoying flashes as the page organises itself. I am using Windows 10.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
And does this also happen with a new and empty profile? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile

I went to uninstall Firefox in Windows Settings and it asked me if I'd like to try a complete reset first. I did and seems to be working okay now.

Based on Comment 2, I'm going to set this issue to Resolved Worksforme. David, please feel free to reopen it, if the issue is back and reproducible.
Thanks!
