Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0

Steps to reproduce:

I believe this to be a combination issue between the video driver for my Radeon vii and fire fox. At one point there was a issue with the Radeon vii drivers and multiple monitors at different resolutions with similar effects. I thought this was the case, but fire fox is the only application causing this issue currently. Most websites cause this issue. The same websites open in chrome will not cause this issue. Video drivers, windows , and firefox are all up to date.

Actual results:

The screen will flicker to black. Some times there is a frame or two where the screen image has shifted right. Some times for a frame or two the screen has a white lined grid lattice effect. (driver aritfacts?) After a while the white arrow cursor is replaced by a black box, or a black box with a semicolon looking and line pattern. While fire fox is in focus on my monitor.

Expected results:

fire fox souuld not cause this issue.

Hi Sal!
In order to perform a test, is it possible that you can write in more detail the steps to follow? It would also help some screenshot or video that shows the error and the URL you are using or any other where we can reproduce that error.
Also, can you please add the about: support data (Help> troubleshooting information> click "copy raw data to clipboard" button
Lastly, could you please try to reproduce it on latest Nightly and tell us your input? You can download it from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm marking this as Resolved-Incomplete due to lack of response. If the issue is still reproducible with the latest Firefox version, feel free to reopen the bug with more information.
