I opened a set of four pdf files in firefox and they all render incorrectly. They all render fine on Microsoft Edge.
Restart in safe mode produces the same issue.
Correctly rendered pdf shows image without black boxes around each 'element'.

Link has expired, can you attach the file here?
Files are too large.
Here's another link: https://ufile.io/f/vdn6i
Also worth mentioning it's still present in v82.0.2
if the other link is no good: https://we.tl/t-8ygqJ3WeTT

TechTree_Allies.pdf renders fine in Nightly.
Jay, can you test in Nightly?
Tried it in nightly and got the same result.
Put the console errors in the image too.

I just tested the pdf in firefox safe(troubleshoot) mode again to see if it might work and it displayed correctly?!
Confused, I tried opening the pdf again in nightly and it displayed incorrectly as before.
I guessed it might be hardware-acceleration causing the issue and so disabled the option in nightly.
It worked, and displayed correctly.
Any idea why hardware-acceleration is causing the issue?
Thanks
