User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Install Thunderbird on Mageia 7 Plasma Kde.
Configure POP3 mail account with server data, with STARTTLS inbound and outbound run security and normal password.
Send email with any content.
Thunderbird generates a self-signed certificate error, but no pop-up window appears to add security exception.
I have tried in a windows computer with the last version of Thunderbird and I have the same issue.

Actual results:

I can't use the email account in Thunderbird by this.
This bug appears after the last update to Thunderbird 78.
If I send the email without security, It do send, but It don't secure, and I prefer don't use it.

Expected results:

It should have send email or appears popup for security exception.

Fixed in 78.4 which will likely be out later today.
