User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/86.0.4240.75 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Opened numerous Dice links, all failed. Tried Chrome, SeaMonkey, Edge with success.

Actual results:

Tried:
https://www.dice.com/jobs/detail/embedded-c%2B%2B-paradigm-infotech-irvine-ca-92602/10107189/6701291?utm_source=Server&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=d_u_n_000_job_03&utm_campaign=Job%2BAlerts
found by several other browsers, but not Firefox.

Expected results:

Job webpage should have rendered.

We also encountered this problem, but it did not happen on dice.com

We have recently reported that users using Windows Firefox 81.0.2 to visit our website randomly appear 404 errors, but we checked the server logs and found that their requests were not sent to the server, so we suspect that the 404 was caused internally by Firefox.

Information provided by the user:
Operating system: windows 10
Firefox version: 81.0.2
No proxy is used, no plugins are installed, and no way to reproduce stably
But restarting the browser to visit the previous page again is normal again
It is normal to use other browsers

Our information:
Website: www.datacaciques.com
The server access log does not have a record to the user feedback 404 page

Hi,

I'm seeing "Sorry! That job has been removed." for first link provided https://www.dice.com/jobs/detail/embedded-c%2B%2B-paradigm-infotech-irvine-ca-92602/10107189/6701291?utm_source=Server&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=d_u_n_000_job_03&utm_campaign=Job%2BAlerts by Mike.

Second link shows different pages in ff and chrome, see attachment. Please confirm if you're seeing the same.

Thanks!
Clara

This problem has not been encountered with the 85 version. The pages rendered by the two browsers are different because of the language settings. chrome is the Chinese version, ff is the English version.

Hi ,

Thanks for confirming this issue has been solved on your end.

Please confirm if I can mark this ticket as resolved then. (feel free to reopen this bug if you have any troubles.)

Regards, Clara

I would mark this ticket resolved, at least with respect to later Firefox versions. I suspect a flaw in version 81 that has since been repaired. Anyone working with version 81 code might value an alert about this bug report. meibing_240 seems better informed about this bug. I have not noticed the misbehavior for some time.

meibing_240 could you provide additional information for me to be able to replicate this issue on my end?

Best,
Clara

Hi,

I'm marking this as Resolved-Incomplete due to lack of response. If the issue is still reproducible with the latest Firefox version, feel free to reopen the bug with more information.

Regards, Clara.
