Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020902
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020902

When entering text into a textbox the text that scrolls off the top due to a
lengthy entry remains hidden after the lines that forced scroll bars are
deleted. The scrollbar disappears, but the text doesn't came back into view again.

This also holds true for XUL scroll boxes in Calendar for example.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter text for the number of lines that fit in a text area + one line (works
with more too)
2. Scrollbars appear and the first line scrolls out of sight.
3. Delete the line(s) that you created to force the scroll bar.

Actual Results:
Scrollbar disappears and the lines that had been scrolled off are still out of
sight.

Expected Results:
1. Scrollbars stay until all text is in sight via user action.
- OR -
2. Line one moves into sight; scrollbar disappears.

You can easily retrieve the text by using the cursor keys (or PAGE UP) to move
up until the lines that were scrolled appear again.
