In Firefox 83.0 (currently in beta), the "Enable Globe view" switcher is missing. At least in Linux 64bit builds up to Beta 4 (as seen on Xubuntu 20.04 64bit).
How to reproduce:
Go to https://www.google.com/maps/
Find no Enable Globe View switcher
In Firefox 82.0 and even Nightly 84.0 the switcher is available.

Ok, yeah this is working as expected.
- 82 and 83 are using basic layer manager and 84 is using WebRender.
- Google maps shows the globe view when it's using WebGL
- Maps creates it's webgl context with 'failIfMajorPerformanceCaveat'
- Starting in 83 we correctly fail context creation if the 'failIfMajorPerformanceCaveat' is used.
- In 84 with WebRender we don't fail in that situation.

Also, if you really want the old behaviour you should be able to use the webgl.disable-fail-if-major-performance-caveat
pref to get it.
