Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:82.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/82.0

Steps to reproduce:

If you open your bookmarks in the sidebar (CTRL+B) the vertical scrollbar is not resizing even at a high amount of bookmarked pages. If you scroll down the list with the mouse wheel the scrollbar reaches the bottom very quickly but you can continue scrolling the bookmark list. History in sidebar works perfectly. FF 82 on Win10. Noticed the bug in 81.x too.

Actual results:

vertical scrollbar is not resizing

Expected results:

vertical scrollbar should resize

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:82.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/82.0

Hi,

I have tested your issue on Release version 82.0.2, Beta 83.0b6 and latest Nightly 84.0a1 (2020-10-26) using Windows 10 and could not reproduce it. The vertical scrollbar is resized accordingly on my end.
If the issue is still reproducible on your end, can you please retest this using latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8) to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause.

Thanks for the report.

Hi,

as you mentioned custom settings - switching the theme for a second fixed the issue. I used the Alpenglow theme, switched to Standard theme and then again back to Alpenglow. Everything is fine now. Thanks for the help :)
