RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1673205

People

(Reporter: musiquegraeme, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0

Steps to reproduce:

I click Send to send an email.

Actual results:

The message send it had gone but TB crashed

Expected results:

I expected it to not crash. I turned off my addon and it still crashed. The emails were sent. In the case of my Imap account they showed up later in sent. In the case of a POP3 account they didn't.

I had about 4 crashes and 2 times it went without crashing.

It is probably bug 1673205. But you haven't provided your crash-ids, so we cannot tell for certain.

I don't know how to send crash ids although I did allow TB to send the crash report. I do find reviewing other bugs to know if it has already been reported very difficult. I never seem to see the bug reports that are later flagged as duplicates.:(

I deleted my LDAP and have sent three emails without crash so it does look as though it is a duplicate of 1673205.

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozilla-crash-reporter-tb#w_viewing-crash-reports

1673205 will probably be resolved within the next week.
