I've installed mozilla-1.1 from mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-sea.tar.gz that I've downloaded from nightly/latest1.1. It is as updated as 08/26/2002. Don't know builds number(?). I've installed Portuguese-Brazilian Language Pack for Mozilla 1.1 and the corresponding option at mozilla's preferences appears as PT-BR (needs update). Couldn't choose this Language Pack.
The new package is avaiable.

I've installed the new package but it still appears with "needs update". What went wrong? Should I first uninstall the old package before installing the new one? How do I uninstall the old one?

You can change to english, restart, change to portuguese and restart again. Please tell me if works.
I received many reports about the new package now working. I think this bug should be fixed.
