Steps to reproduce:
View any element that has a default font set (sans-serif, Arial), or none at all with font-style: italic;
, or an <em> element.

This is a Canonical Snap build for Ubuntu, Firefox 82, but has existed for at least several versions.
Actual results:
Twemoji Mozilla font is used for italics, resulting in unicode block characters rendered.
Expected results:
An italics version of the text should be rendered.

Not seeing this under Solus Linux (sw-wr).
Lee, is this known to you? I see a lot of italics-related font issues open, some very old.
