Steps to reproduce:

Deleting emails

Actual results:

Deleting emails works but was too slow.

Expected results:

Deleting emails bust be fast (< 0.5s)
I solved it:
I excluded Thunderbird from Windows defender :
C:\Users\Albert\AppData\Local\Thunderbird
Than deleting emails was fast.
Thunderbird has to work fast with Windows defender without doing manual changed to Windows defender.

If Windows Defender makes Thunderbird slow, why do you report that to Thunderbird and not to Windows Defender?
Obviously Thunderbird itself works fast enough, according to your comment?
