If you are setting up a filter AND enter text that has to be matched AND
if the text starts with a blank THEN the blank is discarded when you save
the filter.

Eg
If you want to match "bob" but not "thingamabob" you search for " bob".
If you exit the filter editing and then re-enter you will find
that the filter is now looking for "bob" not " bob".

I'm assuming alex is reporting this as a 4.7 bug since we don't have filer UI
support in mozilla yet. Filter UI won't be coming online till after beta 1 so
this bug won't get looked at until then. although now that I think about it, in
4.5, we fixed a bug where we were't ignoring leading blanks for text filters. =)

worksforme with 031205 mozilla linux and win32 builds.  Filters do not lose an
initial space if you save and return to edit them.  If I've misunderstood then
please reopen with clear steps to reproduce in mozilla.  Thanks
